Mumbai News: Fire Erupts In 19-Storey Kanjurmarg Tower, All Residents Rescued Safely

The incident was reported to Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) at 11.40 pm. "Fire broke out in N G Royal Park Building, Near Gandhi Market , R Deshmukh Marg, Kanjurmarg East. It was confined to electric wiring & installation in electric ducting from first to 19th floor of stilt plus upper 19th floored building," statement by BMC said.

A fire erupted in the 19-storeyed residential tower, N G Royal Park on Sunday. The blaze was confined to the electric duct from first to the 19th floor. Several residents stranded inside the building and on the terrace were safely evacuated by the fire fighters. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The incident was reported to Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) at 11.40 pm. "Fire broke out in N G Royal Park Building, Near Gandhi Market , R Deshmukh Marg, Kanjurmarg East. It was confined to electric wiring & installation in electric ducting from first to 19th floor of stilt plus upper 19th floored building," statement by BMC said.

"Persons stranded on 4th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 18th and on terrace were rescued to ground through staircase. The MFB declared it Level I (minor) fire and it was extinguished at 1.24 pm. No injuries were reported," the statement added.
