The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) brought the blaze under control, and no injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to fire officials.

A minor fire (Level-1) broke out at 6 am on Wednesday on the 7th floor of the Windsor building, a ground-plus-eight-storey commercial complex in Santacruz East. The blaze originated in the office of Prime RMC Company, impacting an estimated area of 4,000 to 5,000 sq. ft.

According to officials from the MFB, "The fire was confined to electric wiring, installations, server panels, batteries, split AC units, computers, laptops, inverter systems, office furniture, important documents, false ceilings, glass door frames, and paintwork. The entire floor was heavily smoke-logged."
