Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched several automated systems aimed at streamlining the redressal of applications and complaints for the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai on April 28. This initiative is part of the Maharashtra government's ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, reduce delays, and improve service delivery for citizens, particularly slum dwellers in Greater Mumbai.
Among the newly introduced automated systems, the Heir Certificate Automation System allows citizens to apply for legal heir certificates online. The Land Acquisition Reform System enables the online processing of land acquisition applications, simplifying what has traditionally been a cumbersome procedure. Additionally, the Extension Option System Regarding Land Premium allows applicants to request deferment of land premium payments through an online platform.

Furthermore, the Correspondence Record and Complaint Management System will help track letters and complaints, providing better grievance management and faster resolution of issues faced by residents. These systems aim to make processes more efficient and accessible, ensuring that citizens can address concerns and track progress with ease.
As part of the initiative, Fadnavis also disclosed a wealth of information on the Slum Rehabilitation Authority's website (http://sra.gov.in). This includes key documents such as Land Acquisition Orders, Circular 144 and 144A Non-Exemption Certificates, various expulsion orders, and rehabilitation flat allotment letters, all of which are now available for public viewing.
