Mumbai: A shocking video has gone viral on the internet showing two women allegedly consuming drugs in a rickshaw in broad daylight. The video further shows a discussion on how and where they got the drugs from in the area. The price for the drugs is also mentioned by the addicts during the conversation. The video is claimed to be shot in the Malwani area of Mumbai's Malad.

Viral Video Shows Women Consuming Drugs In Rickshaw

In the viral video, one can see two women engaged in consuming drugs, accompanied by a man in a rickshaw. The man who is recording the clip, probably secretly, can be heard confronting them and advising them on the ill effects on their health due to drugs.

The women can be seen telling him that they are badly addicted and cannot live without doing drugs. He then asks them the location where they found them and the rate. The women can be heard telling him the location and the rate of Rs 200 for two sachets.

The video was posted on X by a user named Asif Shaikh, with a caption, "Selling and Consuming drungs is more easy than having a vada pav and price is almost same vada pav in Mumbai 190 rupees 2 peice and 2 puti garad is 200 rupees which one you will have?"

Shaikh also provided the location as, "Malwani gate no 06," and tagged Mumbai Police, CMO Maharashtra, NCB India and Congress MLA Aslam Shaikh, who is the local representative of the area.

Mumbai Police's Response On Viral Video

Mumbai police took cognisance of the viral video and stated that the concerned officials were informed about the matter. In a comment on the video post, the offical account of Mumbai police replied, "We have informed the Senior Officials of Malvani Police Station."
