In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the corporation highlighted the vital role of its cutting-edge Operation Control Centre, describing it as the “control room that never sleeps.” They praised the unsung heroes working in the control room, emphasising that every smooth metro ride is made possible by the round-the-clock efforts of these dedicated teams.
"As we celebrate our historic milestone of 200 million journeys, let us step inside our 24/7 high-tech nerve hub—the Operation Control Centre,” the post stated.
The post also mentioned that the control room is equipped with 2,080 cameras and real-time monitoring systems that ensure hundreds of thousands of daily journeys continue without a hitch.
