At 1:36 PM - Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and both Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will interact with the media at Varsha bunglow at 3 PM. Then, Devendra Fadnavis will join celebrations at the BJP Maharashtra office, Nariman Point, at 3:30 PM.

After the 17th round of counting, actress Swara Bhasker's husband and NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) candidate from Mumbai's Anushakti Nagar, Fahad Ahmad, raised concerns over the "99% battery of CU" in a social media post.
"I was leading till the 17th round. The dilemma of the '99% battery of CU' still needs to be resolved. ECI, I am coming for you," he wrote.

At 11:48 AM - Cut-throat battles have unfolded in 5 out of 36 seats in Mumbai. In the Bhandup constituency, Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate is leading by just 675 votes against Shiv Sena's Ashok Dharmaraj Patil after 8 rounds of counting.
In Dindoshi, Shiv Sena's Sanjay Nirupam is leading by a razor-thin margin of 20 votes against Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Sunil Prabhu after four rounds of counting.
Shiv Sena's Tukaram Kate is leading with 2,366 votes in Chembur.
In the Kalina seat, BJP's Amarjeet Singh has a lead of 2,000 votes after 6 rounds of counting.
Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Aaditya Thackeray is leading by just 653 votes in the Worli seat against Shiv Sena's Milind Deora.
At 9:48 AM - Six-term MLA Mangal Prabhat Lodha is leading after the second round in Malabar Hill contituency. BJP's Lodha received 7,859 votes, leading by 3,675 votes against Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Bherulal Choudhary, who received 4,184 votes.

At 9:27 AM - In Andheri East constituency, Shiv Sena's Murji Patel (Kaka) is leading after the first round. Patel received 3,981 votes in the first EVM round, leading by 499 votes against incumbent MLA Rutuja Latke.

At 9:16 AM - NCP (SP)'s Fahad Ahmad is leading from the Anushakti Nagar constituency. Ahmad received 3,091 votes in the first EVM round, leading by 804 votes against NCP's Sana Malik.

At 9:05 AM - Congress's Jyoti Gaikwad is leading from the Dharavi constituency after the first round. Gaikwad received 3,947 votes in the first EVM round, leading by 1,913 votes against Shiv Sena's Rajesh Khandare.
At 8:55 AM - BJP's incumbent MLA Kalidas Kolambkar is leading from the Wadala constituency after the first round of EVM counting. Kolambkar received 6,581 votes and is leading with a margin of 5,656 votes against Shraddha Jadhav from the SS UBT party.
At 8:41 AM - MNS chief Raj Thackeray's son and party's candidate in the Mahim constituency, Amit Thackeray, is leading in early trends.
At 8:33 AM - Shiv Sena (UBT)'s Aaditya Thackeray is leading in Worli constituency, as per early trends.
At 8:23 AM - BJP candidate in Vandre West constituency, Ashish Shelar is leading, as per early trends.
At 8:20 AM - As per early leads, the NCP candidate Zeeshan Siddique is leading in Mumbai's Vandre East constituency.
At 8:10 AM - Shiv Sena candidate from Dindoshi Assembly constituency, Sanjay Nirupam visits Siddhivinayak temple. "I am confident that I will emerge victorious with his blessings," he said.
At 8:00 AM - Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate from Mahim Assembly constituency, Mahesh Sawant visits Siddhivinayak Ganapati temple.
At 7:30 AM-Shiv Sena's Mumbadevi candidate Shaina NC visits Siddhivinayak temple and seeks the blessings of Ganpati Bappa ahead of the counting.
Maharashtra Assembly Election 2024:
Over the past five years, Maharashtra’s political landscape has experienced significant shifts, redefining alliances and rivalries. The eagerly awaited Assembly election results will be unveiled as the vote counting commences on Saturday, November 23. The state witnessed a voter turnout of approximately 65% on November 20, an increase compared to the previous election.
This election featured 4,136 candidates competing across 288 constituencies, including 2,086 independents. The BJP fielded candidates in 149 seats, followed by the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) contesting 81 and the NCP-Ajit Pawar faction in 59. On the opposition front, Congress contested 101 seats, Shiv Sena (UBT) 95, and NCP (Sharad Pawar) 86. The BSP, aiming to strengthen its foothold, contested a total of 237 seats.
