Mumbai: A woman in Mumbai's Nalasopara area allegedly murdered her husband with the help of her boyfriend and buried his body inside their home to cover up the crime. The horrifying act took place at Sai Welfare Society in the Gangadipada locality of Nalasopara East.

According to police sources, the accused woman killed her husband nearly 15 days ago. In a disturbing turn of events, she buried his body under the floor of their room. To cover her tracks further, she later asked her brother-in-law (the deceased’s brother) to tile the same floor, unknowingly aiding in the concealment of the body.

Suspicion around the husband’s sudden disappearance arose two days ago, prompting the Pelhar Police to begin an investigation. Officers, along with forensic teams, visited the crime scene and began collecting evidence.

Both the woman and her alleged boyfriend are currently absconding. A manhunt has been launched by local authorities to trace and arrest the duo.

The case is under active investigation, with police urging anyone with information about the accused to come forward.
