Mumbai Crime: Police Book 45 For Vandalising Commercial Building In Kandivali, Damages Estimated At ₹1.5 Crore

The police have booked 45 unidentified people for allegedly vandalising West Centre, a commercial building located in Ekta Nagar, Kandivali West. In the incident, a company (not named in FIR) of one Bhavy Shah suffered damages worth Rs 1.50 crore.

Mumbai: The police have booked 45 unidentified people for allegedly vandalising West Centre, a commercial building located in Ekta Nagar, Kandivali West. In the incident, a company (not named in FIR) of one Bhavy Shah suffered damages worth Rs 1.50 crore.

The FIR, however, is silent on why the vandalism took place. On April 27 around 11.30am, a mob of around 40 to 45 people gathered outside West Centre and threatened the security guard to ask the staff to vacate the premises.

Subsequently, they began vandalising the office using hammers and bamboo sticks, breaking glass panes, computers, air conditioners and furniture.
