Mumbai: BKC Police Sends Notice to Lawyer In Kidnapping Case Amidst Suspicion Of Her Involvement

DCP Dixit Gedam said that we have sent a notice to the lawyer. Police is investigating who else is involved in this.

BKC police has sent a notice to a lawyer in the case of kidnapping of a girl. The woman lawyer had lodged a complaint in the police station that she was going to the court with her client, when suddenly some people came in a car and ran away taking the girl with them. During the investigation, the police came to know that the role of a female lawyer was suspicious in the kidnapping of the girl.

According to the information received from the BKC police, Shehnaz Mohammad Shoaib Shaikh, a lawyer by profession, had lodged a complaint at the BKC police station that she was going to the family court with her girl client to get the documents related to the marriage certificate. Then suddenly two people came in a white car and forcibly caught the girl, made her sit in their car and took her away. Meanwhile, someone also attacked the female lawyer. In this case, FIR was registered in BKC police station and investigation was given to API Sunil Malgavi.

The investigating police team arrested the accused Mohammad Faizal.

A police officer said that the lawyer had already met the girl's family, so when she was taking the girl, the girl was kidnapped.So that no one could doubt her, she had asked accused Faizal to attack her so that the incident seemed real. As soon as the police caught Faizal, all the information came out.

DCP Dixit Gedam said that we have sent a notice to the lawyer. Police is investigating who else is involved in this.
