Mumbai: In a shameful incident, an eight-year-old girl was molested by showing her an obscene video in Taddeo area. The complainant, a mehndi artist, lives in Tardeo and has a daughter in Bali. The 35-year-old accused lives in the same area. Tardeo police have arrested the Accused.

On Sunday, May 4, the accused brought her home on the pretext of giving her pizza, removed her clothes, showed her obscene videos on her mobile phone and molested her by making obscene gestures. As soon as the incident came to light, the complainant woman had filed a complaint against the accused with the Tardeo police.

A case was registered against the accused in the Tardeo police station for molestation along with POCSO sections, and the police arrested the accused. A case has been registered against the accused in the Tardeo police station for obstructing government work and this is the second case registered against him. Police said that the complainant woman and the accused are acquaintances of each other and live in the neighborhood. After the arrest, the accused was produced in court. The court has remanded him into police custody.
