In a proud moment for the Mira Bhayandar-Vasai Virar (MBVV) police force, their chief- Madhukar Pandey has not only been passed with flying colours but also adjudged as the state’s “Best Police Commissioner” in the progress report of the 100-day action plan launched by chief minister-Devendra Fadnavis on 21, January. Under the programme, a multi-point agenda had been chalked out with a focus streamlining government processes, ensuring office efficiency and improving the daily lives of citizens by measures including-website upgradation/ improvement and use of technology for grievance redressal.   

Officials from the Quality Council of India (QCI) evaluated the initiatives and efforts taken by various officials, government departments and law enforcing agencies before announcing the results. While MBVV police chief-Madhukar Pandey bagged the top spot by achieving 84.57 percent marks to clinch the coveted title of being the best police commissioner in the state, his Thane and Mumbai (railway) counterparts secured the second and third place by scoring 76.57 and 73.14 percent respectively. I

n his congratulatory post on X the chief minister said, “I sincerely appreciate all these officers and their teams for making the state administration more efficient, dynamic and people-oriented through effective and innovative implementation. Wishing them all the best for continuing with their good work in the future.” Apart from launching citizen-friendly measures on a regular basis, the MBVV police had been effectively implementing various initiatives under the CM’s 100-day action plan. “Right from a historical decluttering and face-lifting of police stations, we have made transformational changes on each of the seven-point parameters given by our honourable chief minister sir in his 100 days action plan. It’s a proud moment for us.” said MBVV chief Madhukar Pandey.

Other officials who excelled in their performances include-secretaries of five ministerial departments, five commissioners of ministerial departments, five district collectors, five superintendents of police, five chief executive officers (Zilla Parishad), four municipal commissioners, two divisional commissioners and two Inspector General of Police.

8) Dedicated WhatsApp groups to Stay in Touch with Elderly People Living Alone.
