In a significant development within Maharashtra's ruling alliance, ministers from Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena faction have expressed strong dissatisfaction with Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar.
This discontent surfaced during a review meeting held at the Sahyadri Guest House in Mumbai. The meeting, chaired by Eknath Shinde, was conducted separately and included one-on-one discussions with each Shiv Sena minister.
The main agenda was to assess departmental performance, pending projects, fund allocations, and future plans. However, the session turned into a forum for airing grievances against Ajit Pawar.
According to sources, Ministers complained that Ajit Pawar was creating obstacles in their development work and alleged that they were not receiving adequate financial support from the Finance Ministry.

“If the Finance Minister refuses to release funds, how are we supposed to execute our work?” questioned several ministers during the meeting. They emphasized the need for equal rights and support for all coalition partners within the government.
Sources said that following the wave of complaints, Eknath Shinde assured his ministers that he would personally take up the matter with both Ajit Pawar and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. “I will speak directly with them and find a solution,” Shinde assured ministers, offering a sense of reassurance to his disgruntled team.
