In an effort to streamline access to financial assistance for critical illnesses and disaster-related emergencies, the Raigad district administration has launched a dedicated contact and WhatsApp helpline (8265000789) for the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF). The initiative aims to ensure that needy patients and citizens in the district can easily avail themselves of government aid at the local level.
The helpline will serve as a direct communication channel for patients requiring financial help for treatments of serious and life-threatening illnesses through designated hospitals. Additionally, it will also facilitate assistance for citizens affected by disasters, a statement by Raigad administration said.
"Residents across the district are urged to take full advantage of this service," said Resident Deputy Collector Sandesh Shirke. For further correspondence, a dedicated email ID cmrfraigad@gmail.com has also been made available.

The District-Level Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and Charitable Hospital Assistance Cell has been established at the Collector’s Office in Alibag, Raigad, under the directives of the Hon’ble Chief Minister. The cell was officially inaugurated on Maharashtra Day, May 1, 2025, by Minister for Women and Child Development, Aditi Tatkare.
This initiative is part of the state government’s commitment to provide timely and effective support to underprivileged citizens facing health and emergency crises, the statement said further.
