Maharashtra: Malshej Traffic Police Hawaldar Raises Road Safety Awareness Through Song; Video Goes Viral

In order to raise awareness about traffic rules, Sanjay Ghude, the Police Hawaldar at the Police Help Centre in Malshej of the Highway Police, has adopted a unique approach by singing songs to motorists, laced with road safety slogans and also appealing to them to drive safely while on the road.

Thane: In order to raise awareness about traffic rules, Sanjay Ghude, the Police Hawaldar at the Police Help Centre in Malshej of the Highway Police, has adopted a unique approach by singing songs to motorists, laced with road safety slogans and also appealing to them to drive safely while on the road.

Ghughe sang a song about the rules of driving on the road and safety concerned, and sang it in Hindi: "Jivan Anmol hai Bhaiyya, Is bat ko man lo. Gadi chalate raste par tum niyam ko jaan lo." A video was recorded and has gone viral on social media rapidly.

In a video, it can be seen that Ghughe has been singing a song and appealing to motorists to follow traffic rules because "Life is precious." A video was recorded that lasts over six minutes, describing road safety and encouraging safe driving by singing a song.

A song written by Mahesh Kumar Dhanke. Ghude, speaking with a reporter, stated that he joined the Maharashtra Police force in 1998. He has preferred to sing a bhajan since school time. This work is attributed to motorists who drive on the road free concerning safety and security. This video could be made with teamwork.

Ghude said, "We should all be safe on roads, if not for us, then for our families. We will be able to do something for our family only if are safe. So follow traffic rules and do not risk your life or the lives of others. We are available on roads, at people’s service every day. But beyond a point, each person’s safety is in his/her own hands."
