Mumbai: The Maharashtra Cyber Cell has issued a second summons to comedian Samay Raina in connection with the controversy surrounding the India’s Got Latent show. The Cyber Cell has directed Raina to appear for questioning at the earliest. Sources indicate that the latest summons does not specify a date, implying that Raina must present himself on any given day without delay.

Previously, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell had issued a summons to Raina, asking him to appear on February 18. However, he failed to comply and instead requested permission to appear via video conferencing, a request that was denied by the Cyber Cell. As a result, a second summons has now been issued.

Both the Mumbai Police and the Maharashtra Cyber Cell are investigating the case. However, neither Samay Raina nor Ranveer Allahbadia has appeared before the authorities so far.
