The organisation has also called for other individuals and corporates to come forward and add to the fund.

On Saturday, the Lodha Foundation announced to support family of every soldier and civilian who lost their lives or got injured during Operation Sindoor. It will set up an ‘Operation Sindoor Patriots Fund’ which will be used only to help the families of the victims.

According to Lodha Foundation, the fund will be used to educate the victims’ children, financially empower their spouses and cover the health insurance of their parents.

Lodha Foundation has claimed that it will fund the education of the martyr’s children till they complete their graduation including fees, books, and hostel expenses. Additionally, the Lodha Genius Program will provide its advanced educational programs and mentorship for these children.

It also announced that it would support the martyrs’ spouses to become financially independent through skilling and entrepreneurship support and would be given preference in employment in Lodha Group as well as the Lodha Foundation. For the parents of the victims, the organisation has announced to cover health insurance for the next 20 years.

The foundation has also called for like-minded citizens and corporates to join the cause and support India’s bravehearts by donating to this fund. It announced that all the donations to this fund will be used to support the families of soldiers and civilians who have lost their lives or have been permanently disabled during Operation Sindoor.

Abhishek Lodha, managing director of Lodha Group, said, “This is the right time to think about what we can do for our armed forces. Lodha Foundation stands by the families of all the martyrs, injured soldiers and victims of the recent conflict. When a soldier leaves his family and goes on the frontline, he should be relieved knowing that along with the government, the country’s corporates will also look after his family.”
