The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC), West Zone, has announced the launch of its Shravan Special Jyotirlinga Domestic Air Tour Packages from Mumbai and Pune, offering a spiritually immersive experience for devotees during the holy month of Shravan.

Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone, stated that these specially curated tours aim to provide pilgrims with a convenient, safe, and budget-friendly journey to some of the most revered Jyotirlingas in the country.

The air tour packages will cover spiritual circuits including Dwarka–Somnath, Mahakaleshwar–Omkareshwar, and Kashi Vishwanath–Baidyanath, with each itinerary thoughtfully designed to align with the religious significance of Shravan—an auspicious month in the Hindu calendar devoted to Lord Shiva.

The Dwarka and Somnath tour will depart from Mumbai on July 31 and August 14, and from Pune on August 10, with a duration of 3 nights and 4 days, priced at Rs 26,700 per person on a twin sharing basis.

The Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar tour is scheduled to depart on August 14 from both Mumbai and Pune, also spanning 3 nights and 4 days, at a cost of Rs 28,500 per person. Meanwhile, the Kashi Vishwanath and Baidyanath tour will depart from Mumbai on August 7, for 2 nights and 3 days, costing Rs 28,000 per person.

The Jyotirlingas, considered self-manifested forms of Lord Shiva, are believed to radiate intense spiritual energy, and worshipping them during Shravan is said to remove planetary doshas and cleanse negative karma.

The IRCTC has ensured that each package is all-inclusive, covering return flight tickets, transfers, sightseeing, meals, entrance fees, accommodation, travel insurance, and applicable taxes. "These well-planned packages cater to the rising demand in spiritual tourism, especially among devotees seeking divine blessings in a structured and comfortable manner.

Bookings for the Shravan Special Domestic Air Packages are now open, and interested travelers can secure their seats by visiting the official IRCTC website at www.irctctourism.com " said an official.
