Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis participated in the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog, held on Saturday at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The high-level meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and attended by Union Ministers and Chief Ministers from various states.
The meeting focused on key national priorities, with the central theme of transforming India into a "Viksit Bharat" by 2047, marking the centenary of India’s independence. The agenda included extensive discussions on strengthening the synergy between the Centre and States to accelerate growth and development across sectors.

PM Modi Calls for Unity Between Centre and States to Speed Up Development
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while chairing the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog on Saturday, stressed the importance of cooperative governance between the Centre and the states. Speaking on the need to accelerate national progress, he said, "We have to increase the speed of development. If the Centre and all the States come together and work together like Team India, no goal is impossible," as quoted by NITI Aayog in a post on X.
He further emphasised the collective aspiration of the nation, stating, "Viksit Bharat is the goal of every Indian. When every state is Viksit, then Bharat will be Viksit. This is the aspiration of its 140 crore citizens."
