Mumbai: After Coldplay, Cigarettes After Sex, Green Day, Maroon 5, Ed Sheeran et al it is the turn of the huge popular rock band Guns N’ Roses to perform in Mumbai. The band will be arriving after a gap of 12 long years to delight thousands of its crazed fans.
On Tuesday, the band took to social media to announce, “We’re coming to India! This is going to be special." The band will be performing in Mumbai at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on May 17 Tickets will be available to Kotak Mahindra Credit Card customers on March 17, Monday, from 12 pm IST, while the sale for general tickets will go live on March 19, Wednesday, from 4 pm IST on BookMyShow. Currently, the online ticketing platform shows the tickets priced from Rs 4,499 onwards, however, it might change as the bookings begin.
Guns N' Roses is an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985 following the merger of local bands L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose. The band's earlier line up comprised vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler. The current line up includesAxl Rose (vocals and piano), Duff McKagan (bass) and Slash (lead guitarist) and others.
