Mumbai: Frequently, when citizens' cars, bikes, or even bicycles are parked in 'No Parking Zones,' they are towed by the RTO or heavily fined, but are government officials' vehicles exempt from the law regarding improper parking? A Chevrolet Tavera was stationed directly on the walkway outside CSMT railway station, obstructing the path for individuals heading to the bus depot.

A Chevrolet Tavera displaying a 'Bharat Sarkar' sticker with the number (MH01YA2958) was found parked on the footpath outside Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus railway station at approximately 8 AM on Thursday.

A passerby has posted a complaint about the parked car on X tagging Mumbai police and Mumbai traffic police official X pages. The post stated, "Are Govt vehicles above law? This car was parked on the footpath outside CSMT station at 8 AM blocking the passage. Kindly take action."

The Mumbai traffic police replied to the post stating that necessary actions will be taken and responsible authorities have been informed about the issue, "We have informed Azad Maidan Traffic Division for the necessary action."
