On February 5th, Mumbaikars will get a chance to indulge in high fashion, luxury, and artistry as The Clearing House at Ballard Estate will become a destination for fashion connoisseurs. Style Up, the über luxe event, will offer luxury retail with an experiential pop-up featuring some of the most coveted international and homegrown brands, with two brands even making their India debut.
The idea for this discerning event came to life over a passionate conversation among four fashion enthusiasts Sapna Kusumgar, Miti Jhunjhunwala, Paridhi Jain and Shivani Shah, who identified a glaring gap in India’s high fashion space and so decided to host one. “This isn’t just a shopping pop-up, it’s an intersection of fashion, finesse, and indulgence. A finely curated space where every detail is intentional and every experience an indulgence in true haute couture,” shares Jhunjhunwala.
Expect brands like LADV, Ashvyn, Nezo, Aze, Milaris, and Mesha will bring together one-of-a-kind fashion treasures. Fashion savants can also look forward to products by Turkish brand Begüm Khan and Dubai-based Le Marais 101 that are coming to India for the first time. “We wanted to create a space where shopping is an experience, not a search. Pieces here exude personality and define elegance,” shares Shah.
From luxury clothing, home décor, accessories, bed and linen and more, attendees can sip on cocktails, savor artisanal hors d’oeuvres, and mingle with like-minded connoisseurs. “Luxury is about exclusivity and artistry and we are bringing back the joy of discovery, of falling in love with pieces that reflect your unique sense of style,” shares Kusumgar.
To bring the four fashionistas’ vision to life, Dubai-based fashion consultant Monica Gupta has specially curated the brands for the event. Gupta is known for her keen eye for trendsetting design, timeless elegance, and effortless sophistication. This made her the perfect choice to helm this exclusive edit. “This collection is a celebration of statement-making style. Every piece is meant to empower, inspire, and elevate the way we experience fashion,” says Gupta.
This showcase marks the India debut of globally renowned designers alongside homegrown trailblazers pushing the boundaries of high fashion. “We wanted to create something for the woman who doesn’t just follow trends but defines them,” concludes Jain.
