About Met Gala 2025

The Met Gala 2025 is all set to make a breathtaking return on May 5, 2025, taking place at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

This year's Met Gala promises to be a visual spectacle, with the theme "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style". The concept pays tribute to Black dandyism, inspired by Monica L. Miller's 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. The exhibition is being curated by Miller herself, alongside Andrew Bolton from the Met’s Costume Institute.

The event will also be co-chaired by an impressive lineup: Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, and the ever-iconic Anna Wintour. Adding to the star power, NBA legend LeBron James has been named honorary co-chair for the evening.
