The monsoon festival of Hariyali Teej came alive with traditional splendour at Jaipur's historic City Palace, where Princess Gauravi Kumari celebrated the occasion in true regal style. On July 28, the young royal shared a glimpse into the festivities, which blended heritage, elegance, and family warmth.
Royal Teej celebration
Dressed in the traditional colour of the festival, green, Princess Gauravi took to Instagram to share moments from the celebration. Her caption was simple yet meaningful: โTeej ๐โ. The royal celebration was held a day earlier, on July 27, in keeping with the festival calendar.

Her outfit was a nod to Rajasthani roots
For the auspicious day, Gauravi chose a classic Rajputi poshak in rich forest green, featuring the iconic leheria-inspired design. The three-piece outfit included a sequinned blouse with gota patti work, a matching ghaghra adorned with golden embroidery, and a dupatta styled traditionally, covering her head and shoulders.
The ensemble's detailed embellishments and handcrafted elements made it a perfect tribute to Rajasthanโs sartorial heritage.

The look was further elevated with traditional jewellery, featuring a delicate maang tikka, emerald and gold choker, heavy jhumkis, and a stack of green glass bangles. Her hairstyle remained classic: a centre-parted updo, complemented by understated yet radiant makeup featuring kohl-lined eyes, mascara-coated lashes, berry lips, and a luminous glow.

Family moments at City Palace
Photos shared by the Royal Archives Instagram account also gave a sneak peek into the family gathering, where Gauravi was seen posing with her brother Padmanabh Singh and their grandmother. The setting reflected the royal heritage of the Pink City, adorned with traditional Teej decor and cultural warmth.
