On June 4, restoration began for the historic Bakshi Bagh Stepwell in Ward 58 of Zone 3, which is a 200-year-old structure that had long been neglected. The revival aims to bring it back to utility for local residents.
“This is not merely a cleanup operation,” said Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav. “It’s a concrete step towards groundwater recharge and long-term water sustainability in Indore. We thank CM Yadav for initiating this visionary campaign.”
