Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A doctor in Indore, apparently, refused to treat a Muslim patient following the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The chat screenshots between Dr. Neha Arora Verma and the Muslim woman patient seeking treatment for her knees have gone viral on social media.

Dr. Neha Arora Verma shared a screenshot of a message in which she told a Muslim woman, “I’m sorry, we are no longer taking any patients at our center.” The message was seen by many as targeting the patient’s religion.

The incident has made many people angry on social media. They are upset that a doctor refused to treat someone just because of their religion. Many users said this is wrong and unfair.

One person wrote, “She should not be allowed to work as a doctor. Cancel her license.”

Others asked how a doctor can say no to a patient like this when medical care should be for everyone, no matter their religion.

After facing backlash online, Dr. Verma deleted the post. However, the screenshot had already spread on social media, leading to public outrage.

The incident has raised serious questions about medical ethics and religious discrimination. So far, there has been no official statement from health authorities or local officials.
