Tragic! Indore Man & Woman Killed In Car Crash Near Phoenix Mall

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A tragic road accident was reported at a highway near Indore’s Phoenix Mall late on Tuesday night, killing a man and a woman, as reported by police on Wednesday.

According to information, the accident took place under Kanadia police station limits, in which an XUV car with registration number MP 09ZL 1009 met with a serious crash.

It is said there were two people in the car, a man and a woman, at the time of accident. The man was pulled out and rushed to MY Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. 

The woman was found dead at the accident site.

Woman still unidentified

The deceased man has been identified as Ankit Agrawal, a resident of Durga Nagar. His family members were contacted, who later arrived at the scene. However, the woman remains unidentified at present.

The accident caused a long halt to traffic, after which the completely destroyed vehicle was removed to the side of the road with the help of a crane. After this the traffic flow was restored.

Reason behind the accident is yet to be ascertained. Police have taken the matter into cognizance and have started to investigate from all aspects.
