'This Is My School,' Drunk Lady Teacher Threatens Staff In MP's Dhar; Video Goes Viral

Dhar (Madhya Pradesh): A video of a lady teacher coming to a government school in Dhar after drinking alcohol went viral on social media on Tuesday.

The incident took place on Monday at the primary school in Singhana village, Manawar area. The teacher, Kavita Kavache, came to school in a drunk state.

When school staff questioned her behaviour, she got angry and threatened them. She said, " I'll sod you, this is my school. Don't do too much drama in front of me".

School's principal in-charge Juwan Singh Baghel filed a complaint with senior education officials. He reports that Kavita comes to school drunk every day. Despite many warnings, her behaviour was not improved.

This teacher is responsible for teaching 150 children from I to V grade. The school staff said her drinking problem is affecting the students' education. When she gets drunk, she behaves rudely with other teachers and staff members, said staff.

Local villagers also expressed their concerns about this situation. Students confirmed that their teacher comes drunk to school daily. They said that the teacher also tried to snatch someone's phone when they were recording the incident.

The matter was reached to education department officials. Parents and villagers want immediate action against this teacher. Manawar BRC Kishore Kumar Bageshwar said that the case would be examined.

He added that a letter to Dhar assistant commissioner Narottam Barkade was also given. However, Barkade denied having any information about the matter.
