Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Second COVID-related death was reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone district, where a nine-month pregnant woman tragically passed away during her delivery at a hospital in Indore.
The woman was undergoing a cesarean section (C-section) on Thursday when she suddenly started having seizures. Her condition worsened quickly, and she was put on a ventilator to help her breathe.
Tested +ve post death
Despite medical efforts, she could not be saved. Later, her RT-PCR test report confirmed that she was COVID-19 positive.
However, the Indore district health department stated that the primary cause of death was complications during the C-section, not the coronavirus infection.

The state’s first COVID-related death was reported on April 21 in Indore. At that time, two new COVID cases were found - a young man and an elderly woman. Health authorities continue to monitor the situation closely.
