Pahalgam Terror Attack: Protestors Condemn Killings, Says Violence Will Never Win

MP, LIC agents pay tribute to Sushil Nathaniel

Alirajpur (Madhya Pradesh): MP Anita Chauhan and LIC agents paid tribute to Sushil Nathaniel who was killed in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

The attack also injured his daughter, Akanksha, who was shot in the leg. Sushil, a manager at the LIC satellite branch in Alirajpur, had travelled to Kashmir for a family holiday.

The tribute meeting was held at Alirajpur District BJP office, where LIC agents presented a memorandum to MP Chauhan, requesting assistance for Sushil's family.

MP Chauhan expressed her condolences and assured that necessary help would be provided. She emphasised that such cowardly acts of terror would not weaken India's unity and resolve.

The entire district is mourning the loss of Sushil Nathaniyal, who is remembered for his dedication and service. Akanksha is currently receiving treatment in the hospital and prayers for her swift recovery are being offered to god by the community.

Ratlam: Media persons protested against the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 28 innocent lives. Wearing black bands and holding the Indian flag, they marched to the collectorate, where they burned a map of Pakistan and shouted slogans. A memorandum demanding strict action against terrorists was presented to SDM Anil Bhana by Press Club President Mukeshpuri Goswami.

Attack condemned

Sendhwa: Members of the Morning Group condemned the attack and demanded retaliation from the government. They collectively said that targeting individuals based on religion is a heinous act. Sunil Agarwal called for unity against terrorism, while Rajesh Mishra urged the government to take strong action.

Teacher’s Union calls for unity

Mandsaur: Madhya Pradesh Teachers' Union District Branch vehemently condemned the recent terrorist attack. District president Vikram Sharma called for unity among all political parties against such violence.

Protest in Sanawad

Sanawad: Hindu Jagran Manch and local citizens protested against the killing of 27 tourists in Pahalgam by burning an effigy of Islamic terrorism. They lit lamps for the victims' peace and observed a moment of silence. A memorandum was submitted to the police, urging immediate action against terrorism and better security for Hindus.

Dhar: In response to the recent Pahalgam incident and upcoming festivals, a meeting was held on Wednesday for intelligence officers in Dhar district. Deputy Inspector General of Police Manoj Kumar Singh and ASP Geetesh Kumar Garg led the meeting at SP office.

During the meeting, Garg emphasised the need for thorough checks on suspicious individuals and tenants. He instructed officers to monitor activities of banned organisations and maintain tight security.

Special attention was also directed towards anti-social elements, with a warning of strict legal action against those disrupting peace.

Additionally, officers were advised to monitor objectionable content circulating on social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram to ensure community safety.
