Madhya Pradesh: Indore CP Santosh Singh Is The New Additional Director General; Eight Other IPS Officers Promoted

The departmental promotion committee was held last week and the names were decided.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Home Department promoted 9 IPS officers in the state including the commissioner of police Santosh Kumar Singh, who has been elevated to the post of additional director general of police, in an order released by the state government on Tuesday.

The departmental promotion committee was held last week and the names were decided.

Four deputy inspector general of police (DIG) have been promoted to inspector general of police (IG). DIG Chhindwara Sachin Atulkar has been  promoted to IG and posted as IG range Chhindwara. DIG Chambal range Kumar Saurabh has been promoted to IG Chambal range, DIG SAF Krishna Venu Desavatu has been promoted to IG SAF Bhopal.

Four SP rank officers have been promoted to DIG among them are SSP radio Bhopal Vijay Kumar Khatri promoted as DIG radio Bhopal, SP Ashoknagar Vineet Kumar Jain promoted as DIG Ashoknagar, SP DharManoj Kumar Singh has been promoted as DIG Dhar and AIG Rakesh Kumar Singh posted at SISF at PHQ Bhopal has been promoted as DIG at PHQ.
