Sanawad (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav performed bhoomi pujan and inaugurated development works across Khargone district worth around ₹266 crores at a function in Bedia village on Thursday. The development works are proposed in Khargone, Bhikangaon, Jhirniya, Barwaha and Maheshwar.
CM also approved development works worth ₹65 crore for the development of Mirchi Mandi of Bedia. He approved Bedia bypass to be constructed for ₹21 crore. The CM announced ₹4.32 crore for construction of an approved bridge on Bakud river on Khangaonkhedi road and ₹5.74 crore for construction of a bridge on Sikadai River on Baswa-Ghonsla road.
He also announced construction of traffic route of Dhaklagaon. On demand of citizens, Chief Minister assured approval for construction of a CC road to reach Jayanti Mata temple of Barwaha and construction of a retaining wall on Choral River for safety of devotees. He announced ₹2 crore for development in Jayanti Mata temple area. He also distributed certificates of acceptance of social security pension to sickle cell patients and benefits to beneficiaries of other schemes.
Earlier, MLA Sachin Birla welcomed the CM with a turban as a symbol of Nimar culture. MP Gyaneshwar Patil, BJP district president Nanda Brahmane, MLA Balkrishna Patidar, Rajkumar Mev, Chhaya More, former MLA Hitendra Singh Solanki, Barwaha municipality president Rakesh Gupta, municipality vice president Rajesh Jaiswal, presidents of BJP mandals and BJP officials were present on stage.
MP Patil highlighted public welfare schemes and achievements of BJP governments. He demanded opening of an agricultural college in the area. Patil said the government has announced ₹2,250 crore for development of Omkareshwar pilgrimage area. He said bathing ghats will be constructed from Omkareshwar to Khedighat.
MLA Sachin Birla demanded approval of development works of Barwaha assembly constituency. Birla said the Chief Minister has approved ₹65 crore for development of Bedia Mirchi Mandi. With this amount, 5 cold storages of 6 thousand metric tonnes will be constructed at ₹40 crore for farmers convenience. Each cold storage will have a storage capacity of 1.50 lakh sacks.
Apart from this, trolley shed will be constructed in Mandi premises at ₹90 lakh, high rise shed
CM receives warm welcome in Kasrawad
Kasrawad (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, enroute to attend a programme in Bedia village, received a warm welcome from BJP workers at Vijay Stambh Chowk here on Thursday.
Enthusiastic party members celebrated his arrival with firecrackers and drums. The event saw the presence of BJP district president Nanda Brahmin, MLA Balkrishna Patidar and party workers in large numbers.
