Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a step towards promoting health, education and community development, mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav on Monday inaugurated "Yoga Mitra Yoga Shala" and the "Sant Shri Sewalal Reading Room" in Ward 1 of Indore-I assembly constituency.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of former MLA Sudarshan Gupta, local corporator Mahesh Chaudhary, community leaders, officials, students and a large number of women and local residents.
Speaking at the event, Bhargav shared that the initiatives were part of his long-standing vision for holistic ward-level development. “When I took over as mayor, I resolved that each ward in the city should have a Sanjeevani clinic, an educational institution and a yoga shed. I am pleased to announce that all three initiatives have been successfully implemented,” he said.
Highlighting ongoing infrastructure efforts, the Mayor added, “We are working swiftly toward the goal of ensuring that tap water reaches every household. I am grateful for the continued support from Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, who have wholeheartedly backed development projects for Indore.”
