Raj Bhawan appointed Shrivastava, a faculty member of Institute of Management Studies, as dean for a period of two years.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Professor Deepak Shrivastava has been appointed as new dean of Faculty of Management at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).

Raj Bhawan appointed Shrivastava, a faculty member of Institute of Management Studies, as dean for a period of two years.

The appointment on the post was necessitated after Sangeeta Jain’s term of deanship got exhausted in May last year.

According to information, the university had forwarded the name of Prof AK Spare. But, he retired before letter of his deanship could be issued.

Later, the university administration forwarded the name of professor Shrivastava. Following university recommendation, Raj Bhawan gave its stamp.

With appointed of Shrivastava, the total number of deans in DAVV has reached to 13. Three posts are still vacant. Dean positions are vacant in faculties of Commerce, Ayruved and Medicine.
