Indore (Madhya Pradesh): What was supposed to be a routine morning business travel turned into a nightmare for three milk distributors in the Betma area on Wednesday morning. Standing by the roadside, they waited for the vehicle that would take them to the city for their daily milk delivery, unaware that it would become the cause of tragedy.
In a twist of fate, the same milk van's tyre burst just moments before reaching them, causing it to lose control and overturn and crashing into them. They were rushed to the hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries during treatment while the other two are being treated in the hospital.
According to the police, the deceased was identified as Ajay Chaudhary (35), a resident of Rajpura. The injured persons have been identified as Omprakash Chaudhary and Lokesh Chaudhary.
The family members said that the incident occurred near Machal when all three were waiting on the roadside for the milk vehicle from Rajpura to go to Indore for milk delivery. As the vehicle approached them at high speed, its tyre suddenly burst. The driver lost control and the vehicle overturned, hitting all three of them.
