Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The body of a 25-year-old OT (Operation Theatre) technician of MY Hospital was found lying overnight on a railway track near the Rajendra Nagar area. The police suspected suicide while the family suspect foul play.

According to GRP staff, the deceased was identified as Dev Vaskale, a resident of Bijalpur. His identity was confirmed through a bank slip found in his pocket.

According to the police, Dev died after being hit by a train. His body was discovered early in the morning near the Gamle Wali Pulia after it remained on the tracks throughout the night. Local residents spotted the body and informed the GRP (Government Railway Police), who then contacted the family using the phone number on the slip.

Meanwhile, Dev’s family suspects foul play. They claim Dev had no issues that might have driven him to suicide. He had a stable job as an OT technician at MY Hospital and used to return home around 11 pm every night. On Friday, when he didn’t return and his phone remained switched off, the family began searching for him with help but were unsuccessful.

Motorcycle found parked near crossing

According to the police, his motorcycle was found parked near the railway crossing close to where the body was found. However, his mobile phone and wallet were missing, raising further doubts for the family. The police began a probe to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.
