Commissioner told the officials that care should be taken to ensure that there is maximum voting in the elections and that all the possible facilities are provided to the voters. She said that all the model polling stations should be attractively decorated.

Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal inspected various polling stations in the city to ensure that proper arrangements are in place for the urban body polls slated on July 6.

During the inspection, zonal officer Vaibhav Devlase, health officer Arvind Pathrod and other officials were present.

Commissioner told the officials that care should be taken to ensure that there is maximum voting in the elections and that all the possible facilities are provided to the voters. She said that all the model polling stations should be attractively decorated.

She said zonal officials should ensure there is no waterlogging near the polling station and wheelchairs are available for the differently-abled. Drinking water should be available and there should be proper sanitization in the entire polling station area.
