Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, conducted a successful Rajbhasha (Official Language) inspection at the Central Bank of India’s Dewas branch (under Regional Office, Indore). The inspection was led by deputy director Narendra Singh Mehra.
He was warmly welcomed with a bouquet by branch manager Jatin Singhal, chief manager (Rajbhasha) Rajeev Tiwari and Rajbhasha officer Bandana Saw.
During the inspection, Mehra reviewed registers like attendance, inward-outward, ATM logs, staff and customer meeting notes and official files — all well-maintained in Hindi.
He appreciated the branch’s consistent adherence to the Government of India’s language policy and commended the efforts of branch manager Singhal and the entire staff for promoting the use of Hindi in daily operations.

PNB hosts MSME outreach event across Indore
At the MSME outreach programme held at polo ground, Yogesh Mehta, president of Association Of Industries, urged entrepreneurs to treat bank loans as sacred and use them solely for intended purposes to ensure growth and avoid NPAs. Organised by Punjab National Bank, the event was part of a nationwide MSME outreach initiative.
Indore zone head Anil Kumar Anal shared that 98 loan proposals worth Rs 167 crore were received during the event. Zonal manager Jatinder Mankotia and GM Aditya Kumar Padhi highlighted PNB’s supportive schemes like Prime Plus and GST Express. The event also featured on-spot approvals and government scheme guidance by DIC deputy director Aditya Tiwari. MSME camps were also held at Rajwada and 56 Dukan.
