Man bites off another’s ear in liquor shop brawl
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A man bit off part of the other’s ear after a fight broke out between them outside a wine shop in Rau on Monday evening. The incident occurred at the wine shop near IPS College on AB Road around 5 pm when the victim had gone to buy liquor.
According to the police, one Shubham Kelwa, a resident of Bijalpur, lodged a complaint stating that he had gone to the wine shop with his friend to buy liqour. A man was sleeping in front of the shop and he asked him to move.
One Manoj who was sitting nearby began to argue with him and started abusing him. When he objected, a scuffle broke out and Manoj bit Shubham’s ear, leaving him injured. In retaliation, Shubham hit Manoj with a bottle. The police registered a case against Manoj under sections 296, 115(2), 351(3) of the BNS and further investigation is underway.
MYH Housekeeping Supervisor Ends Life, High Debt Suspected
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A 23-year-old supervisor of MY Hospital committed suicide by hanging himself at his place under MIG police station limits on Tuesday morning. Preliminary investigation revealed that he was under a large debt, leading him to take the drastic step.
However, no suicide note was found from his place to establish the exact reason behind his suicide. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Yogesh Patidar, a native of Omkareshwar who was staying in Nehru Nagar. His family members said that Yogesh returned home around 8 am after finishing his duty.
Later, he hanged himself when he was alone at home as his mother had gone to work in a hospital while his elder brother had gone to Omkareshwar. His house owner saw him hanging and informed his family members. It is suspected that he had a large debt due to which he was tense and took the drastic step. He is survived by his mother and brother.
Worker's Death By Electrocution; Owner, Contractor Booked For Negligence
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The house owner and contractor were booked by Kanadiya police for alleged negligence leading to death due to electrocution of a labourer. The incident occurred in Jhalaria on January 30 when the labourer was working on a cement mixer machine at the construction site.
According to the police, one Narayan Baghel of Dhar district was working on a cement mixer machine at the construction site when he received an electric shock after coming in contact with an open wire.
During the investigation, the police found that the accused Banwarilal and Bindu Krishnan did not adhere to any safety measures during the work. The workers even asked them to replace the broken electrical wires but neither they replaced it nor they provided any equipment to the workers, which led to Narayan’s death.
