Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Four car-borne miscreants were arrested by police for stabbing and robbing a delivery boy in Hira Nagar police station area, police said on Thursday. The police arrested the accused Arjun Parusiya, Chirag Sharma, Lovkesh Shinde and Anurag Solanki within 48 hours of the incident and recovered the stolen mobile phone while seizing the car used in the crime.

According to the police, one Deendayal Verma, a resident of Bajrang Nagar, lodged a complaint stating that he was a delivery boy and was on his way to Vijay Nagar to deliver food late on February 3. Four unidentified persons sitting in a car stopped him near Nyay Nagar around 2 am and demanded the food parcel.

When he refused, one of them stabbed him and snatched his mobile phone, leaving him bleeding on the road. A police FRV arrived at the spot and rushed the victim to the hospital. Police examined over 200 CCTVs and acting on a tip-off, they traced the accused near Sanwer Road. When police reached, the accused tried to flee but were caught.

The police registered a case for attempted murder against the accused under relevant sections of BNS and they have previously had multiple cases registered against them in different police stations.
