According to the police, the deceased was addicted to drugs, which is believed to have contributed to his drastic step. His family members said that he was a class 9th student in a government school and when his mother went to call him for tea, she found him hanging around 4 pm.

The family members said that their neighbourhood has become a den of drugs where people often consume drug substances. The boy could not keep himself away from the drug environment and started consuming drugs by inhaling thinner for the last two years.

The family members had tried multiple times to counsel him, but he could not get over his addiction and continued consumption. The police launched a probe and will record statements of the family members to ascertain the exact reason behind his drastic step.
