Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad is literally caught between the devil and the deep blue sea as his eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav`s estranged wife Aishwarya Rai on Monday accused him and his family of ruining her life.
Lalu faced the accusations from Aishwarya only a day after he expelled his eldest son from the party as well as from the family Tej Pratap by 'taking a high moral ground' after he revealed on the social media about his relationship with a woman on social media.
Tej Pratap filed divorce petition against her within six months of their marriage in 2018. The divorce case is still pending in the court.
Aishwarya alleged that Tej Pratap’s expulsion from the party and the family for six years by his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav was mere an eyewash to mislead the people

“If Lalu family knew everything about their son’s relationship, why did they get him married to her and ruin her life? Why was my life ruined? Why was I beaten?,” she attacked the Lalu family through her posers.
“Now they have suddenly had a social awakening. I got information about my divorce from the media. All the information I got was through the media… I did not know what was going on… " she remarked.
Describing the entire episode as ‘a drama before assembly elections, she said, “The decision to snap ties with him (Tej Pratap) is timed with the upcoming elections in the state. They all are together.”
She claimed that Tej Pratap’s mother Rabri Devi must have assured him that she would take care of everything once the situation turns normal. She must have advised him to stay calm in the present circumstances.
Sharpening her attack on RJD chief Lalu Prasad, Aishwarya said, “He knew everything (about Tej Pratap’s relationship with a woman). Yet he married him with me. He has ruined my life. What action he has taken against him is related to elections.Where was their social justice when I was beaten up? This is all a ‘political drama’ .”
She alleged that she was blamed for everything that happened in the family (Lalu’s) during her stay in ‘sasural’ (in-laws house). But the truth has now come out. Everything is clear. When will I get justice? I will continue to fight for justice,” she asserted.
