Gurugram: A shocking incident surfaced from Haryana's Gurugram where two speeding cars rammed into pedestrians and other vehicles. The incident, which took place on March 14 in the Sector 4 area of the city, was recorded on CCTV installed in the area and its video went viral on social media.

In the video, it could be seen that two cars crashed into a white-coloured car at high speed. According to reports, both drivers were performing dangerous stunts when they lost control.

One of the drivers managed to flee from the scene. The video shows, when the two cars hit the white-coloured vehicle, the driver of the grey-cloured car did not stop and managed to flee from the spot. An elderly woman was passing by when the incident took place. She narrowly escaped. Two women were reportedly injured in the incident.

After receiving the information, the police swung into action. Cops scanned the CCTV footage to identify the drivers of the cars involved in dangerous stunts. Both drivers were later arrested by the police. They have been identified as Ankit from Badshahpur and Shiv Sundar from Shikohpur, reported Republic.

A detailed investigation has been launched into the matter.

Vadodara Car Crash:

Last week, a 20-year-old law student, Rakshit Chaurasia, rammed a speeding car into two-wheelers in Gujarat's Vadodara, killing one woman and injuring several others. The incident took place on March 14 at around 12:30 am near Muktanand crossroads in the Karelibaug area. He was arrested by the police.

Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle took a sharp turn, which caused it to hit the two-wheeler. The CCTV footage shows that the car was at high speed.

In the video, Chaurasia was apparently drunk as he was seen behaving erratically, shouting "another round, another round”, then a girl’s name, “Nikita, Nikita, Nikita Meri”, before suddenly chanting “Om Namah Shivay”.
