Dehradun: A video from Uttarakhand's Dehradun is making rounds on social media. The video is of a wedding procession, some youths can be seen performing dangerous stunts by climbing on the roofs of speeding cars and hanging out of the windows. The video is said to be from Singniwala area.
After the video went viral, Dehradun SSP ordered immediate action. The police identified and seized three cars and two bikes seen in the viral video. Besides, the police also arrested 5 youths.
The youths can be seen dancing while hanging out of the windows of the speeding car on the highway. Some youths are even sitting on top of the car's roof. During this time, drivers behind them recorded a video of the act.
"If you do stunts on the road, we will hunt you down Taking cognizance of the video circulated on social media regarding youths violating traffic rules by jumping out of the roof and windows of the car in Dehradun, the police took legal action against all the drivers and seized 03 cars and 02 motorcycles," Uttarakhand police posted on X posting the video of the act along with a photograph of the youths after being arrested.
