Baghpat: Residents of the Tikri village in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district were left stunned after a cow gave birth to a calf with two mouths and three eyes, prompting widespread speculation over the nature of the unusual birth. The rare occurrence quickly turned into a local sensation, drawing villagers from far and wide.
According to reports, a cow owned by local cattle breeder Zahid delivered the calf. News of the calf’s bizarre physical features spread rapidly, and within hours, curious crowds gathered at the spot, some treating it as a divine sign.

Miracle or Mutation?
The unnatural birth drew a mix of reactions at the scene. While many villagers saw the calf’s appearance as a miracle, others suspected a genetic disorder behind the deformity. Several locals began performing prayers and rituals around the calf, placing offerings of money and flowers, believing it to be a blessing or divine incarnation.
The scene outside Zahid’s home resembled a pilgrimage site, with people queuing up to catch a glimpse of the calf and take photos. Children, elders, and even people from nearby villages reached Tikri to witness what many called a once-in-a-lifetime sight.
Though no medical assessment has yet been made public, veterinary experts say such cases often stem from congenital defects during foetal development.
