On the occasion of the 40th Foundation Day celebration of the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), the technical wing of Indian Railways, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw launched the ‘RailOne’ mobile app.
About The 'RailOne' App
According to an official, 'RailOne’ is a one-stop solution for all passenger services. The app offers easy access to services such as ticketing (reserved, unreserved, and platform tickets), train and PNR enquiries, journey planning, Rail Madad services, and food on trains. It also includes features for freight service-related enquiries.
The app can be downloaded from both the Android Play Store and the iOS App Store.

"The core emphasis of the app is to enhance user experience through a seamless and clean user interface. It not only combines all services in one place but also integrates them to provide users with a comprehensive package of Indian Railway services" official said.
"A unique feature of the app is the single sign-on facility, which reduces the burden on users to remember multiple passwords. Once downloaded, users can register using their existing credentials from the 'RailConnect' or 'UTSonMobile' apps. This eliminates the need to carry multiple apps for different Indian Railways services, thereby saving space on users’ devices.
The facility of R-Wallet (Railway e-wallet) has also been incorporated. A simple login option using a numeric mPIN or biometric authentication is provided. For new user registration, minimal user data is required, making the process easy and quick. For enquiry purposes, users can log in as a Guest using a mobile number and OTP.
