Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh): A local BJP leader, Rahul Balmiki, who serves as the district minister of the party’s Scheduled Caste Morcha, was caught on camera in a compromising position with a married woman at a cremation ground in Bulandshahr district. The incident took place in the Shikarpur Kotwali area, specifically at the Kailawan village crematorium.
Rahul Balmiki Found Partially Undressed With Married Woman
According to reports, local residents spotted a suspiciously parked car at the cremation ground and approached it out of concern. Upon reaching the vehicle, they allegedly found Rahul Balmiki partially undressed and inside the car with a woman. The woman is said to be married, and both were reportedly in an objectionable state when confronted by villagers.
Video Shows Balmiki Pleading For Forgiveness
Eyewitnesses reportedly asked Rahul to open the car door, and upon doing so, he was caught red-handed. A video from the scene has now surfaced online and is going viral on social media. In the video, Rahul Balmiki is seen pleading for forgiveness and touching the feet of the locals, while the woman accompanying him is seen trying to hide her face with a dupatta. He can be heard saying, "Bhai tumhare paer padta hoon" (Brother I'll touch your feet) while seeking forgiveness.
No Police Action So Far Into The Matter
The visuals have sparked outrage, but what has drawn further criticism is the lack of immediate police action. Despite the widespread circulation of the video, Shikarpur police have not taken any official action against Balmiki so far. Meanwhile, Rahul is reported to have gone into hiding following the public embarrassment and backlash, according to an NDTV report.
Who Is Rahul Balmiki?
Rahul Balmiki was entrusted with an organisational role in the BJP’s SC Morcha and was seen as an emerging face at the district level. However, the party has not yet issued any official statement on the matter, nor has it clarified whether disciplinary action will be taken.

This incident follows a similar controversy from Madhya Pradesh, where BJP leader Manoharlal Dhakad was also caught in an objectionable video with a woman on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Following that video’s circulation, a case was registered and the vehicle used in the incident was seized based on CCTV footage.
