The Taj Mahotsav 2025 is a vibrant 10-day cultural festival scheduled from February 18 to February 27, 2025, at Shilpgram, near the eastern gate of the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. This annual event, organised by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department, celebrates India's rich heritage of arts, crafts, culture, and cuisine.

Taj Mahotsav was initially held in 1992. This year signifies its 34th anniversary and the 32nd installment of the festival. A key aim of this craft mela is to offer support to the artisans. It also offers the exquisite artistry and craftsmanship at the most fair and genuine prices that are not raised by excessive upkeep expenses.

Theme of Taj Mahotsav 2025

The theme for this year's festival is Dharohar, which means heritage. It emphasizes the preservation and promotion of India's diverse cultural legacy, highlighting traditional art forms, crafts, music, dance, and architectural marvels like the Taj Mahal

About Taj Mahotsav 2025

Over 400 artisans from across India will showcase their crafts, including wood carvings, brassware, handmade carpets, pottery, and silk products. Visitors can purchase these unique items directly from the craftsmen, supporting indigenous art forms.

The antcipated festival will feature traditional music and dance performances, with renowned artists like folk singer Malini Awasthi and comedian Sunil Grover set to perform. A diverse range of regional cuisines will also be available, offering visitors a chance to savor India's culinary diversity. Meanwhile, a dedicated area with rides and games ensures entertainment for children and families.

Ticket Information

Adults: ₹50 per person

Children (5-10 years): ₹10 per child

Children (below 5 years): Free entry

Foreign Tourists: Free entry

School Groups: ₹500 for a group of 100 students (with free entry for two teachers)
