SHOCKING! UP Man Strangles Wife To Death After She Refuses To Eat Chowmein In Agra; Surrendered

Agra: A shocking incident surfaced from Uttar Pradesh's Agra, where a man allegedly killed his wife for refusing to eat chowmein on Monday. The accused has been identified as Sandeep. He runs a cosmetic business in the Khandoli Nandlalpur area. Sandeep surrendered before the police after his sons took the deceased to a hospital.

During the questioning, Sandeep told the police that for the past several years there was a dispute between him and his wife, Gunjan, as both doubted each other's fidelity, reported Dainik Jagran. Sandeep and Gunjan were even contesting a case.

The accused wanted to get a divorce from Gunjan. He even reportedly consulted a lawyer. On Monday afternoon, Sandeep bought chowmein for Gunjan. However, she refused to eat. It led to an argument. According to the report, Sandeep started assaulting Gunjan. She in turn slapped him. Sandeep then started strangling her.

After strangling Gunjan for 20 minutes, she collapsed. Sandeep came out of the room and kept standing there for 20 minutes.

As per the report, he then asked his sons to take her to a hospital. Meanwhile, he went to the police and surrendered. Gunjan was declared dead by doctors.

A detailed investigation has been launched by the police.

In another shocking incident which surfaced from Maharashtra's Palghar in February this year, a 49-year-old man allegedly killed his wife. The accused was arrested after the woman's severed head was found in a suitcase in a Virar jungle. The accused, Harish Hippargi, allegedly killed his wife, Utpala alias Soma Das, in January before disposing of her body in separate locations to cover up the crime. The case came to light on March 14 when police discovered a human skull inside a travel bag near Pirkunda Dargah in Virar. During the investigation, crucial evidence led them to Hippargi, who was tracked down and arrested from Nalasopara late at night.
