Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav turned 52 today, and political leaders across party lines extended warm wishes to mark the occasion. Since early morning, a steady stream of party workers, supporters, and well-wishers have gathered to greet him at the SP headquarters in Lucknow.
Amidst the cheers and celebrations, Akhilesh was given a rousing welcome by party cadres upon his arrival at the party office. The atmosphere was filled with festive energy as supporters raised slogans and showered flowers.
Significantly, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to social media platform X to extend his greetings, writing, “Heartfelt birthday wishes to former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Akhilesh Yadav.” Akhilesh responded warmly, thanking the CM for his kind message.
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati also conveyed her wishes. “Heartfelt birthday greetings to Samajwadi Party chief, former Uttar Pradesh CM, and current MP Akhilesh Yadav. Wishing him a long and happy life,” she posted on X. Akhilesh expressed gratitude for her message as well.
Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Keshav Prasad Maurya joined in with his own message: “Hearty birthday wishes and greetings to SP chief, former Chief Minister and MP Akhilesh Yadav. May Lord Ram, Lord Krishna, and Lord Shiva bless you with good health and a long life.”
Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) president Om Prakash Rajbhar, a former ally and now a political rival, also wished Akhilesh well. “Warm birthday greetings to SP national president, former CM, and MP Akhilesh Yadav. Praying to God for your good health and longevity,” he posted.
Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Rahul Gandhi, currently serving as Leader of the Opposition, also sent his best wishes. “Heartfelt birthday greetings to the strong voice of PDA (Picchde, Dalit, Alpsankhyak) Akhilesh Yadav! Wishing you health and happiness. We stand shoulder to shoulder with you in the fight for justice and equality,” Gandhi wrote on X.
