Jaipur: The Bhajan Lal government has denied the phone tapping allegations made by its cabinet minister Kirori Lal Meena. The minister of state for home Jawahar Singh Bedham said in the Rajasthan Vidhansabha that no phone including Kirori Lal Meena was intercepted.
“I am starting with full responsibility that no phone was intercepted including of Kirori Lal Meena by the government,” said the minister explaining the provisions of call interception by the government.
Although the opposition Congress was satisfied with the government's reply, it walked out of the house demanding action against the minister who alleged his government of phone tapping.
The opposition said that the government's minister has accused the government of phone tapping, if the government has not tapped the phone, then what action will be taken against the minister.

Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie said" the opposition is satisfied with the government's reply. But if the phone was not tapped and the minister is making false statements, then action should be taken against the minister as well."
It is worth noting that the cabinet minister of the Rajasthan government, Kirori Lal Meena, in a public meeting had accused the government of snooping him and tapping his phone.
Later, the minister was given a show cause notice by the party.
